Deb Grise - Security
Hello everyone it's a new year and time to be thinking about keeping our
lake secure and the way we all want it to be. Coming into the season is a
good time to introduce the new Beach Access Stickers and Member/Guest Cards
and explain their usage and why they are important to us all. The stickers
and cards are being sent out .
We plan to have roving rotating security coverage at both beaches this year
by a private security contractor. The coverage will be random to include
both beaches days and nights. As part of the security guards duties he /she
will check for member and guest cards/stickers every time he/she is on duty on our
behalf at the beaches. If you or your guests do not have identification
or are not a member in good standing according to the current list that the
guard will have in his possession then you will be asked to leave.
Other rules and regulations posted on the signage at both beaches will be
As usual whenever a security guard is not present, the trespassing, dog
laws, underage liquor, drug usage, noise and other statutes will be enforced
on a complaint by complaint basis, by the Ashburnham Police Department. The
Ashburnham police now have officers on all 3 shifts 7 days a week patrolling
the town and they will respond to every complaint.
Let's have a great safe summer season by following our rules and being
courteous to our neighbors and the Security service guards. They have a
difficult job to do.
