It will be a great way to meet your neighbors and kick off summer! \nRoot Cellar Wines will be bringing 6 different flavors for sampling — signature white\, signature blend\, cranberry\, BlackBerry\, peach\, and raspberry. Wines are all natural\, no added sulfites\, tannins\, or conditioners! \nTickets are $10 and all proceeds will go towards our live music event. DESCRIPTION:Far Hills Association Community Plant Swap\nSaturday\, May 21st\, 9 am to noon (Rain or Shine) at Ripple Beach \nThe Sunset Lake Watershed Advisory Committee (SLWAC) is hosting a Neighborhood Plant Swap on Saturday\, May 21st. \n\nThin your plants!\nDig up seedlings! \nRoot some clippings!\nShare extra plants you’ve started! \nBring some seeds!\nOr just come empty-handed and pick out some things to grow.\n\nOutdoor or indoor plants are welcome. But please\, NO INVASIVE PLANTS.\n(https://www.massaudubon.org/learn/nature-wildlife/invasive-plants) \nPlease drop off between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Swap starts at 9 a.m.\nHelp us by labeling plants with as much information as you can provide based on what\nyou know or where it was growing in your yard:\n• Name of plant (if known)\n• Light requirements (sun\, shade\, part sun\, etc.)\n• Soil and water requirements (dry\, moist\, sandy\, rich etc.)\n• Short description (height\, color\, when it flowers\, etc.) \nSLWAC will also be accepting donations of native plants that would grow well in\nthe full-sun and sandy soils in the Lollipop Beach Goose Deterrent Project. We’re\nchoosing to plant natives here because they are well-adapted to our soils and climate\nand will be low maintenance. Possible plants include New England Asters\, Boneset\,\nBlue False Indigo\, Goldenrod\, Hay-scented Fern\, Bracken Fern\, Sweet Fern\,\nMeadowsweet\, Switchgrass\, Chokeberry\, Blueberry\, Bayberry\, Viburnums\, and many\nothers. If you have extras of something growing in your yard that would do well in the\nLollipop Beach planting area\, please dig it up and donate it at the Plant Swap. \nNeed pots for your plant donations? Consider cleaning and reusing plastic milk\, juice\nand yogurt containers. We’ll also have some plastic pots under the overhang by the\nrestrooms at Ripple Beach starting May 1st. \nWe hope to see you there!
