Fall Cleanup – Volunteers Needed

We will take down the volleyball nets and gather the horseshoes at Lollipop and Ripple beaches and store them at Levins Hall, We will move and stack picnic tables. We will gather together the fencing around the plants at Lollipop. The sandy area at Ripple Beach will be freshly raked/loosened, so we will need some folks to help pick up the weeds and grass. We will need to move the large white “no wake” and “swim zone” buoys from the water’s edge at Ripple Beach, power-wash them, and store them in the bathrooms. There may be a couple of other special tasks too, one of which will need a chain saw. Please let me know how you will be able to help in this annual event.

Note that there will be a second clean-up day at the beach areas after the water has been lowered to it’s winter level. Target date is Saturday 18 November. We will need to rake and otherwise clean up debris from the beaches, especially the freshly exposed areas.
